Our Story

It started as a simple frustration: Finding a hoodie suitable for Irish weather all year round.

For years, I bought hoodies from some of the biggest brands around. Some looked great, some were comfortable, some were expensive — but I could never find one that felt genuinely thick, comfortable, and built for Irish weather.

During Covid, I eventually decided to make my own.

The result was a heavyweight fleece hoodie made the way I wanted it — substantial, comfortable, and something you could throw on without needing extra layers.

I had the idea of making more, but like most ideas, it got parked for almost five years.

In 2025, I came back to it and produced a small run for friends and people around me. The response and feedback were really positive — despite our lack of social media and advertising skills.

So that's where AÉRA is today.

We're not about constant collections or mass production. Just a small Irish brand making limited drops of heavyweight, high-quality hoodies when there's enough demand to make them.
